Open Instructor position at House of Heavilin!

Education: Current Cosmetology - Esthetician Instructors License CA / MO/ E ** OR interest in obtaining. Cross licensing in fields of interest a plus, as we offer Cosmo, Esthetic and Nail Tech and X-over Barber courses.

Instructor Licensing Description: Working in a school environment for approx. 50 + students in a post-secondary setting. Oversee groups of students training, help supervise and motivate. Teach daily classes as scheduled. Oversee quality of instruction, focusing on student motivation and counseling to achieve state cosmetologist license. Assist retail operations of clinical floor, focusing on customer service and hospitality. Assist in managing operating budgets, along with clinical and classroom inventories of equipment and learning materials.

Requirements: Love of education by making good things happen for other people.
Missouri Cosmetology License CA / MO / E, Instructor license or interest in obtaining license.

As we teach many subjects, a love of cross knowledge in all subjects a plus.
Excellent people skills, with ethical and compassionate standards unequaled. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Presentation skills a must, with ability to speak in front of large groups, directing participation and understanding. Strong leadership skills, must be effective in gaining acceptance, influencing others and negotiation. Great organizational and time management skills. Ability to follow directions and repetitive training schedules. Personal responsibility and dependably is a foundation for our team. Working knowledge of human resources, problem solving, conflict resolution and counseling skills. Computer skills necessary. Personal appearance current and representing of the beauty industry.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
