Hairstylist and colorist

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care and styling services to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clientele while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the salon.

Duties
• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client needs.
• Apply makeup and offer makeup consultations to enhance clients' overall appearance.
• Perform hair threading and eyelash extensions as requested by clients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
• Utilize MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions at the front desk.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport with clients, understanding their preferences, and providing personalized recommendations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, techniques, and products to provide clients with the most current services available.

Skills
• Strong knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices.
• Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and hair threading techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
• Experience with front desk operations including appointment scheduling and customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
