Cosmetologist/ Barber

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and professional Cosmetologist/ to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
• Provide a wide range of cosmetology services including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments
• Perform specialized services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and nail care
• Conduct makeup applications for various occasions
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
• Offer retail product recommendations and upsell related products to clients
• Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment bookings and client check-ins
• Mentor junior staff or trainees to uphold service quality standards
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, color theory, and grooming techniques
• Assist in store management tasks when needed, including inventory control and store organization

Skills
• Proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques such as straight razor shaving and hair threading
• Knowledge of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and retail sales management
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within a salon environment
• Expertise in cosmetology, barbering, and nail care services
• Ability to perform makeup applications with precision and creativity
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Retail sales skills including upselling products based on client needs using retail math principles
• Store management experience is a plus for leadership roles
• Effective mentoring abilities to support team development
• Familiarity with retail operations and front desk duties

Pay: $200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
