Cosmetologist/Hair Stylist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Hair Stylist to join our salon team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about hair styling and beauty trends, with excellent communication skills and a flair for upselling salon services and products.

Responsibilities:
• Provide professional hair care services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles
• Perform scalp treatments and hair conditioning procedures
• Keep workstations clean and sanitize tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Upsell salon services, products, and retail items to clients
• Stay updated on current beauty trends and techniques

Qualifications:
• Some experience as a Hair Stylist with expertise in hair styling techniques
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of salon software for appointment scheduling and client management
• Familiarity with color, decolonization , hairstyling, events styles , hair straighteners , nail care, and retail sales is a plus
• Understanding of retail math for product sales tracking
• Previous experience in store management is advantageous
