Duties
• Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and hair extension services using current techniques and industry best practices.
• Perform skincare treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, esthetic laser treatments, and body waxing to enhance client appearance and confidence.
• Deliver makeup applications for special occasions or daily wear, ensuring personalized looks that meet client preferences.
• Administer advanced procedures including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with proper certification and safety protocols.
• Manage retail sales by recommending products during service consultations and conducting product demos to educate clients on skincare and beauty solutions.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations related to tools, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Utilize salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client records, and sales tracking.
• Engage with clients at the front desk by providing excellent guest services, answering questions about treatments, scheduling follow-ups, and managing social media management efforts to promote the salon’s offerings.
• Stay current with industry trends in hair threading, tattooing (if applicable), eyelash extensions, nail care, and other beauty techniques to ensure innovative service delivery.
• Assist with product demos and upselling opportunities to enhance revenue while ensuring clients receive tailored recommendations aligned with their beauty goals.

Skills
• Extensive knowledge of cosmetology practices including hair styling, coloring, cutting, and extensions.
• Proficiency in advanced skincare treatments such as dermabrasion, laser therapy, dermal fillers, Botox injections, and body waxing.
• Strong management skills for handling appointments, retail sales, social media management, and front desk operations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
• Familiarity with salon software like Millennium or MINDBODY for efficient scheduling and record keeping.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Experience in retail sales techniques including upselling products during service interactions.
• Skilled in makeup application for various occasions along with knowledge of color theory for personalized looks.
• Ability to perform specialized services such as eyelash extensions, hair threading, straight razor shaves (barbering), nail care treatments, and deep tissue massage if qualified.
