Experienced Cosmetologist

Rejuvenate Salon & Spas is in search of an experienced licensed cosmetologist for part time in our salon located in an upscale senior living community in Gainesville, FL . The qualified candidate should have a strong background providing women and men's haircuts, color, perms, blow out styles and roller sets including experience with the senior population styles.

No following needed, clientele awaits!!!

Part time - 2 days a week, Tue & Thurs 9:00AM - 4:00 PM

Supplies provided, just bring your tools!

All applicants must have a passion for working with the senior population and an understanding of their needs. A caring, compassionate mindset and dependability are required for this position.

Rejuvenate Salon & Spa pays commission + tips on a WEEKLY basis with direct deposit.

Responsibilities
• Greet all residents, family members and employees of the community with a warm, friendly attitude
• Ensure customer needs are identified
• Provide all hair services, experience a must.
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Complete paperwork carefully and efficiently
• Collect payment for services (if applicable)
• Perform limited reception duties
• Maintain safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of work area to include sweeping hair
• Maintain and sanitize hair cutting tools and instruments
• Maintain confidentiality of information

Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED
• Current Cosmetology license for the state in which you are working
• 10 + Years’ Experience (Preferred)
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills
• Friendly and Professional Demeanor; Patience
• Able and Willing to work a Flexible Schedule
• Ability to walk
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 6 hours
• Ability to stoop, kneel and crouch

• 2 days a week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
