Responsibilities
• Provide expert hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles with precision and creativity.
• Perform advanced coloring techniques utilizing color theory knowledge to achieve desired results safely and effectively.
• Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and perform hair threading to enhance client looks.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring a hygienic environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Offer professional advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to maximize client satisfaction and store sales.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and supporting store management operations.
• Mentor junior stylists and team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, nail care, makeup application, and customer service excellence.
• Upsell retail products like hair care items, makeup products, nail care supplies, and accessories to enhance client experience and increase revenue.
• Stay current with industry trends in barbering, color theory, and new styling techniques to continually elevate service quality.

Experience
• Proven experience as a professional Hair Stylist or Barbering specialist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling work.
• Demonstrated expertise in hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client records.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment to ensure safety for clients and staff alike.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally while understanding their unique needs.
• Strong retail sales skills combined with retail math proficiency to meet sales goals through upselling quality products.
• Experience mentoring or training team members in technical skills like haircutting, coloring techniques, or customer service strategies is preferred.
