At JoelCmaHairStudio, we don’t just cut hair; we curate confidence. We pride ourselves on being a creative hub where high-end technique meets a relaxed, guest-focused atmosphere. We are currently looking for a passionate, trend-aware Hairstylist to join our chair and grow with our brand.

The Role

We are looking for a stylist who is a master of their craft and a pro at building relationships. Whether it’s a precision fade, a seamless hair straightening, or a transformative balayage service, you should be comfortable delivering consistent, high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
• Consultation: Conduct thorough, empathetic consultations to understand guest goals and hair history.
• Technical Excellence: Execute a wide range of services including cutting, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments.
• Retail Savvy: Educate guests on professional aftercare and recommend products to maintain their look.
• Community: Maintain a clean, organized station and contribute to the positive, collaborative energy of the studio.
• Social Presence: Stay active on social media to showcase your work and represent the JoelCmaHairStudio brand.

What You Bring to the Chair
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years behind the chair with a strong portfolio.
• Credentials: Valid California Cosmetology License.
• Vibe: A professional, punctual, and trend-forward attitude. You should be someone who loves learning and isn't afraid to try new techniques.
• Clientele: A partial following is a plus, but we are also looking for someone hungry to take on our growing waitlist.

Pay: $22.05 - $35.00 per hour
