Duties
• Deliver professional hair styling, haircutting, and barbering services using techniques such as straight razor shaves, hair threading, and precision cuts.
• Apply hair coloring based on color theory principles to achieve vibrant or subtle results tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Enhance client looks with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care services.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene by properly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products such as hair care items or cosmetics.
• Mentor junior team members in technical skills like hair styling techniques or retail sales strategies while fostering a positive team environment.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Support store management by assisting with inventory control, retail math calculations, and maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere.

Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in diverse styling techniques including hair extensions and color application.
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client records management.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Skilled in various hair treatments including straight razor shaves, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs clearly and provide personalized recommendations.
• Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to mentor team members and contribute positively to the store’s collaborative culture.
