Responsibilities
• Deliver a wide range of hair services including cuts, trims, styling, coloring, and treatments tailored to each client's preferences.
• Perform specialized services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening attentively to client needs, offering professional advice on styles and products, and upselling retail items when appropriate.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, booking appointments, and handling payments with retail math proficiency.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair threading, barbering skills such as straight razor shaves, and overall salon best practices to foster team growth.

Experience
• Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques.
• Skilled in using salon software for scheduling and retail management; familiarity with retail sales strategies is a plus.
• Certification in cosmetology or barbering from an accredited institution; additional training in nail care or makeup application is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while providing personalized recommendations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
