Hair Stylist / Barber

We are seeking an energetic and talented Hair Stylist / Barber to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair styling, barbering, and grooming services while providing outstanding customer care. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best, all within a supportive environment that celebrates individuality and self-expression.
• Perform a variety of hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
• Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
• Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments based on color theory and current trends.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, nail care products, and styling tools while delivering excellent customer service.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment by sharing expertise in areas like store management, retail math, and communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Barber with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles.
• Knowledge of hair extensions, hair threading, nail care, and makeup application is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Certification in Cosmetology or Barbering from an accredited program is required.
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients from all backgrounds.
