Hair stylist

We are seeking an energetic and talented Hair Stylist to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair styling, coloring, and grooming services while providing outstanding customer care. Your expertise will help clients look and feel their best, fostering loyalty and satisfaction with every visit.
• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions with precision and creativity on textured/curly hair.
• Offer expert advice on hair care, color theory, and styling techniques tailored to each client’s needs
• Manage retail sales of hair products, including upselling and product recommendations to enhance client results
• Maintain salon cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
• Operate salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and store management
• Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading when appropriate
• Assist at the front desk with client check-in/out, appointment confirmations, and store management tasks
• Valid cosmetology license with experience in hair styling and haircutting techniques
• Proficiency in advanced styling methods including straight razor shaving and hair extensions application
• Knowledge of color theory for safe and effective coloring services
• Experience with salon software like Fresha for scheduling and client management
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment
• Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling and retail math calculations
• Experience in mentoring junior staff or trainees is a plus
• Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair threading are desirable but not required

Pay: $250.00 - $2,000.00 per day

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
