Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented, licensed Hair Stylist with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hair services. The right candidate will provide a full range of hair services, build meaningful client relationships, and contribute to the creative culture at our salon.

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting & Styling
• Provide precision women’s, men’s, and curly haircuts
• Execute scissor and razor cutting techniques
• Offer event and special-occasion styling (blowouts, formal styles)
• Perform professional finish and styling work tailored to client needs
(Services include scissor & razor cuts, curly cuts, event style)

Color & Chemical Services
• Perform full-service hair coloring including:
• Single process / root touch-ups
• Demi-permanent glaze services
• Face-frame highlights & balayage
• Half and full-head highlights and lived-in color
• Corrective color and toning
• Skillfully apply color formulas using an array of color lines that match your talent including, Goldwell, Redken & Schwarzkopf.
• Educate clients on color maintenance and customized color plans

Hair Treatments & Specialty Services
• Provide relaxing wash, scalp massage, and conditioning treatments
• Recommend and administer hair treatments based on hair type and goals
• Consult with clients to plan extensions and advanced services (tape-in and weft methods; consultations required)

Client Experience & Retention
• Deliver warm, attentive consultations
• Build strong, loyal client relationships and encourage re-booking
• Offer professional recommendations on salon products and home care

Standards & Salon Culture
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow sanitation protocols
• Support a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and growth
• Live the salon’s mission of superior service and guest comfort

Qualifications:
• Active State Cosmetology License
• Strong background in hair cutting, coloring, and finishing techniques
• Experience with balayage, highlights, corrective color, and color glazing
• Knowledge of modern styling tools and hair treatments
• Excellent consultation, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• A passion for continual learning and industry trends
