Compensation: Please note we are a Commission Salon.

Your Service Commission % will be based on experience level, clientele and performance. This represents between $25-$115+ per hour, depending on types of services (Haircuts vs Color vs Smoothing Treatments vs Extensions). Plus Retail Product commission, plus tips!

All service prices are a baseline and may be adjusted depending on your expertise level and skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to understand and achieve clients' desired looks.
• Advanced Styling: Execute advanced cutting, coloring, and styling techniques with innovation.
• Product Expertise: Recommend and sell high-quality products tailored to clients’ needs.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior stylists, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Salon Standards: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, upholding salon protocols.
• Hair Extensions: We have implemented hair extensions and we would prefer if you are experienced and you are interested in education!
• Smoothing Treatments: We have successfully implemented Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde free treatments.

Applicant Requirements:
• Licensure: Valid Washington State cosmetology license.
• Experience: At least 7-20 years of hairstyling experience in a high-end salon environment.
• Levels Open: Expert / Elite / Master / Senior
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced hair techniques, strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Professionalism: Commitment to maintaining salon standards and delivering exceptional client service.
• Adaptability: Ability to address diverse client needs and manage operational challenges.
• Language Skills: At Salon O, we take pride in our diverse clientele. If you are multilingual, please let us know; we highly value the ability to provide a premium, personalized experience for our guests in their preferred language.

Expected Hours: 24/32/40 hours per week

Schedule:
• Looking for professionals with availability range between 10-7pm.
• Day/Evening shift
• Tuesday to Saturday.
