Hair Stylist (Part Time)

The Hair Stylist is responsible for delivering professional, meticulous, creative and exemplary hair services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Perform Forbes Five Star Standards of practice when interacting with guests.
• Conduct current popular hair services such as shampoo and blow dry, haircuts, styling, scalp treatments and Formal event styles.
• Conduct all treatments according to treatment guidelines.
• Assess and accommodate guest’s needs: inquiring about physical wellbeing and perform appropriate service.
• Keep up to date with current trends.
• Maintain availability and dedication to The Spa at Pebble Beach making the Spa, growing clientele a priority. Must be available to work weekends, holidays and evenings. Spa is open 365 days a year.
• Perform at least two guest contact employee services per month as occupancy allows.
• Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, training, product knowledge classes and team effort.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Fill in for other hairstylists as needed. Other duties as assigned by manager.
• Abide by all California State Board of Cosmetology guidelines.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures. Sanitation guidelines strictly always followed.

Absolutely Required Skills:
• Must be service oriented, accurate, gentle and work with attention to detail, striving to exceed the expectations of every guest every time.
• Valid California State Cosmetology.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
