Hairstylist/ Braider (BOOTH RENT OPPORTUNITY)

Responsibilties: We are looking stylists, but not just any stylists as we are not just any salon. We want someone who can fit the culture we want to project onto our clients and set the ambiance of fun, professional and of course, exceptional work. You have to be upbeat, smart, carry a great attitude and personable to people from all walks of life. We absolutely love our craft and we want you to love it too, so having a strong passion for creating beauty is a must. We have an environment of team players so being able to work with other stylists in a cohesive manner that makes for a smooth and comfortable work place is key to being a part of this team. This is NOT a commission based opportunity which means that you have the potential to make as much money as possible, and grow your clientele in a professional setting. • Duties

- Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments
- Perform nail care services such as manicures and pedicures
- Apply makeup for special occasions or events
- Offer hair extension services to clients seeking longer or fuller hair
- Educate clients on proper hair and skincare routines
- Use salon software to schedule appointments and manage client information
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Upsell salon products and services to clients

```Experience```
- Must have a valid cosmetology license
- Previous experience working in a salon or spa setting is preferred
- Knowledge of current beauty trends and techniques
- Familiarity with sanitization and hygiene practices in the beauty industry
- Experience with store management or mentoring other cosmetologists is a plus

Skills:
- Cosmetology: Proficient in providing a wide range of beauty services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
- Upselling: Skilled in promoting additional salon products and services to clients.
- Sanitation: Knowledge of proper sanitization and hygiene practices in the beauty industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
