Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and cosmetology, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service while creating beautiful hairstyles that meet our clients' needs. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied with their look.

Duties
• Provide a variety of hair services including cuts, colors, styling, and treatments tailored to individual client preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist clients with product recommendations and upselling retail items to enhance their hair care routine.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions.
• Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair styling techniques.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments, including eyelash extensions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive salon environment and high-quality service delivery.

Skills
• Proficient in hair styling techniques with a valid cosmetology license.
• Strong understanding of retail math to effectively manage sales and inventory.
• Excellent retail sales skills to promote products and services effectively.
• Ability to sanitize tools and maintain a clean working environment consistently.
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is a plus.
• Strong mentoring abilities to guide less experienced staff members.
• Knowledge of eyelash extension application techniques is desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.58 - $31.52 per hour

Schedule:
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
