Overview
We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for hair styling while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best, maintaining a professional appearance, and fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. Prior experience in hair styling, and retail sales, valued.

Duties
• Provide a wide range of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure client safety.
• Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Create a friendly and professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean salon environment.
• Strong upselling abilities combined with retail sales experience to promote products confidently.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with clients and team members alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
