The Role
Job Overview
We are Christian Based Spirit filled Salon seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various beauty treatments and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional guest services while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism.
Responsibilities
• Provide a range of cosmetology services including hair styling, hair extensions, makeup application basic facials, with brow arching, and eye lash tips
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
• Manage front desk operations including appointment scheduling, guest check-in/out, and handling customer inquiries.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and ensure their needs are met effectively.
• Participate in product demos and upselling techniques to enhance client experiences.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and techniques through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology license with proven experience in a salon or med spa environment.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, hair threading, straight razor techniques, deep tissue massage, and tattooing is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Proficiency in social media management to promote services and engage with clients online.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating self-motivation.
