Licensed Cosmetologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Cosmetologist to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will provide hair, skin, and or aesthetic services while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest. Your technical expertise and social media presence will help grow our salon’s reputation and keep clients feeling confident and beautiful.

Responsibilities:
• Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and extension services using modern techniques.
• Perform skincare treatments such as facials, waxing, and other aesthetic services (optional).
• Educate clients on haircare and skincare products to support retail sales.
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Promote services and engage clients through social media.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Valid Cosmetology license from an accredited program.
• Experience in hair styling, makeup, waxing, lash extensions, barbering, or related services.
• Knowledge of advanced aesthetic treatments (optional, if licensed/certified).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Social media marketing experience preferred.
• Commitment to professionalism and cleanliness.

Compensation Options:
• Booth rental: $250 per week or
• Commission-based: 60% to stylist / 40% to salon.
