Licensed Cosmetologist

Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Cosmetologist to join our dynamic team. Duties
• Perform comprehensive hair services including styling, coloring, extensions, and straight razor shaves.
• Provide esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatment, body waxing, nail care, eyelash extensions, and tattooing.
• Deliver advanced skincare procedures including esthetic laser treatments and facial treatments like microdermabrasion.
• Manage retail sales through product demos and upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
• Handle front desk responsibilities including guest services, appointment scheduling via salon software (Millennium, MINDBODY), and managing social media accounts for marketing purposes.
• Educate clients on color theory, makeup application, hair threading, and other beauty techniques to promote client retention.
• Assist with management tasks such as inventory control and team coordination to ensure smooth salon operations.

Skills
• Valid Cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques.
• Experience with advanced cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox treatments, esthetic laser therapy, and body waxing.
• Strong management skills including retail sales strategies and social media management for brand promotion.
• Proficiency in salon management software like Millennium and MINDBODY to schedule appointments and track client history.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon or spa setting.
• Competence in nail care services and eyelash extension application.
• Ability to upsell products and services through effective guest engagement and product demos.
• Experience in hospitality or med spa environments is a plus; strong organizational skills are essential for multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
