Job Overview

The Licensed Esthetician will be responsible for providing a range of skincare treatments, managing client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our spa or salon.

Responsibilities
• Perform professional skincare treatments including facials, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.
• Administer body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty services to meet client needs.
• Provide advanced treatments such as botulinum toxin injections and dermal fillers for medical spa clients.
• Manage retail sales by recommending skincare products and conducting product demos to enhance client results.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all treatment areas following health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as Boulevard for appointment scheduling, client records, and sales tracking.
• Assist with front desk duties including guest services, appointment confirmations, and payment processing.
• Stay updated on industry trends related to hair styling, nail care, hair extensions, tattooing, color theory, straight razor shaving, and other esthetic techniques.
• Support management in daily operations and contribute to a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.

Skills
• Valid Cosmetology license with esthetician certification required.
• Proven experience with esthetic laser treatment, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and other advanced skincare procedures preferred.
• Strong management skills with familiarity using salon management systems such as Boulevard.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a spa or salon setting.
• Ability to perform makeup application, nail care services, hair styling, barbering techniques including straight razor shaves when applicable.
• Experience with social media management for marketing purposes is a plus.
• Competence in retail sales strategies including upselling products and services to maximize revenue.
• Effective communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction across diverse clientele. Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
