Licensed Nail Technician

We are expanding our services to offer medical pedicures for patients with specialized foot care needs, including diabetics, elderly patients, and individuals with nail disorders. We seek a Licensed Nail Technician to join our team and provide safe, hygienic, and professional foot care in a clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform medical pedicures (non-cosmetic, podiatrist-supervised foot care).
• Trim, shape, and clean toenails using sterilized, medical-grade instruments.
• Safely reduce calluses, corns, and dry skin following medical protocols.
• Ensure strict sanitation and infection control standards (OSHA & CDC compliant).
• Identify patients needing podiatrist intervention (e.g., infections, severe ingrown toenails).
• Educate patients on proper foot hygiene and nail care.
• Use and apply medical-grade foot care products (antifungal polishes, urea-based creams).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

✅ Licensed Nail Technician in Illinois (Required).
✅ Experience working in a medical, podiatry, or spa setting is a plus.
✅ Strong understanding of infection control & sterilization protocols.
✅ Ability to provide gentle, professional foot care to high-risk patients (diabetics, elderly).
✅ Excellent customer service and patient communication skills.
✅ Willingness to train in medical foot care techniques under podiatrist supervision.
