Luxury Hair Stylist - Licensed Barber/Cosmetologist

From technical skills classes with platform artists, to book building workshops at our Redmond headquarters, Weldon provides ongoing education to ensure our Barbers are the best in the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to create haircuts tailored to men's individual style preferences.

Willingness to learn and train to provide other services such as shaving, beard trimming, and beard shaping. This may involve using straight razors, trimmers, and other grooming tools.

Client consultations, and the ability to build trusted relationships with returning clients.

Represents elevated brand image through professional hygiene and dress standards.

Greets clients as they arrive and ensures they are comfortable.

Offers and sells appropriate retail products.

Maintains shop cleanliness and safety standards.

Keeping up with trends and techniques.

Handling payments and transactions.

Fulfills general front desk, administrative, and clerical tasks, as needed.

Other duties assigned by Team Leader.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Washington State Barber or Cosmetology License.

Organized, professional, reliable, accountable.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.

Uses critical thinking to solve problems independently.

Flexible and able to adapt to business needs.

Able to operate a point of sale system and handle sensitive client information.

Passionate and knowledgeable of salon industry products and services.

Comfortable with selling products and services consistently.

Able to work as part of a team.

May be required to stand for extended periods of time.

Previous salon experience preferred.
