Manicurist and Nail Technician

Duties
• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity
• Provide personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail treatments and care routines based on client needs
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly disinfecting tools and workstations after each client
• Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance, and retail product recommendations to enhance their experience
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques like 3D art or encapsulation
• Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
• Manage retail sales of nail products, skincare items, and accessories while demonstrating excellent communication skills

Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology license or certification in nail technology required in accordance with state or local regulations
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends
• Experience with advanced services such as gel application, acrylics, nail art, and color theory principles
• Familiarity with complementary beauty services like hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional attitude
• Knowledge of retail math for managing sales targets efficiently

Pay: $153.03 - $240.00 per day
