Medical Nail Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Medical Nail Technician to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nail care services in a clinical setting, combining technical proficiency with excellent customer service. This role involves performing specialized nail treatments, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and offering personalized care to clients. A background in cosmetology and esthetic treatments is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a passion for enhancing client well-being.

Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and advanced treatments such as dermabrasion and nail extensions.
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable nail polish shades and designs that complement clients’ skin tones and preferences.
• Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients.
• Conduct esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and other cosmetic procedures as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice, and upselling additional services or retail products.
• Manage retail sales effectively through strong communication skills and product knowledge.
• Stay updated on current trends in nail art, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, and barbering techniques to enhance service offerings.
• Assist clients with retail math calculations for product purchases and upselling opportunities.
• Educate clients on proper nail care routines and post-treatment care instructions.

Requirements
• Valid cosmetology license with specialization or certification in nail technology.
• Knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and advanced esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion and laser procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
• Ability to perform multiple treatments while maintaining attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Excellent retail sales skills combined with upselling techniques to maximize client satisfaction and revenue opportunities.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour
