Nail Technician

Duties
• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and preferences
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and creating a relaxing experience
• Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Stay current on industry trends like nail art techniques, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and other beauty treatments to offer innovative options
• Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories using retail math skills to maximize sales opportunities

Qualifications
• Valid cosmetology license or nail technician certification as required by local regulations
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques along with an understanding of color theory and design principles
• Experience with sanitation practices to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
• Familiarity with additional beauty services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments is a plus
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a genuine focus on customer satisfaction
• Retail sales experience coupled with retail math skills to promote products effectively
