Nail Technician

Ascend Spa in Kew Gardens is seeking a part-time Nail Technician to join our growing team. We are a wellness-focused spa, not a high-volume nail salon — this role is ideal for someone who wants a steady, professional environment and is comfortable performing nails alongside other spa services.

Applicants with additional licenses (Esthetician, Waxing Specialist, etc.) are highly preferred. We’re looking for someone versatile who can support multiple service categories as the spa continues to grow.

Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality manicures and pedicures in a calm, professional spa environment
• Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Assist with other spa services if licensed (facials, waxing, body treatments, etc.)
• Support overall spa operations during slower nail-service periods
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold Ascend Spa’s brand standards

Requirements
• Valid NYS Nail Specialty license (required)
• Additional NYS licenses (Esthetics and/or Waxing) strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a team setting
• Weekend availability preferred

Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
