The Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced nail treatments, while delivering outstanding customer service in a professional and sanitized environment. This role offers opportunities to expand your skills in esthetic treatments and retail sales, contributing to a welcoming and luxurious client experience.
Duties
Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity.
Apply advanced techniques including gel polish application, nail extensions, and intricate nail designs based on client preferences.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations.
Educate clients on nail care routines, product recommendations, and aftercare instructions.
Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and other beauty accessories to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Provide additional esthetic services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments if qualified.
Assist clients with skin care consultations related to body waxing or other esthetic procedures.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
Valid Cosmetology, Esthetician, or Manicurist License.
Knowledge of color theory for nail art design and application.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
Experience in sanitation practices specific to nail care environments.
Excellent communication skills to educate clients about services and products.
