Nail Technician - Full Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Full-Time Nail Technician to join our team. We are a well-established salon with a large clientele. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a welcoming environment for clients, and contribute to the overall salon experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about beauty and customer service to showcase their skills and grow within a dynamic setting. We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of experience doing nails. All technicians make 50% commission plus tips on all services.

Duties
• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, dipping powder and nail art with attention to detail and sanitation standards
• Provide consultations on nail care, color choices, and design options using knowledge of color theory
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health regulations
• Upsell additional services such as body waxing to enhance client satisfaction
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client needs, answering questions, and adapting the My Friends culture
• Stay current on industry trends and techniques in nail care

Experience
• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar cosmetology role with certification in nail care or cosmetology licensing required
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175.00 - $250.00 per day
