Nail Technician/Licensed Cosmetologist - Part Time (Weekends)

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Part-Time Nail Technician to join our team on our busy weekends. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, create a welcoming environment for clients, and contribute to the overall salon experience. The potential for transition into a full-time position may exist for the right candidate.

Duties
• Perform professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, dipping powder and nail art with attention to detail and sanitation standards
• Provide consultations on nail care, color choices, and design options using knowledge of color theory
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health regulations
• Upsell additional services such as body waxing to enhance client satisfaction
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client needs, answering questions, and adapting the My Friends culture
• Stay current on industry trends and techniques in nail care

Experience
• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar cosmetology role with certification in nail care or cosmetology licensing required
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction

Pay: $175.00 - $250.00 per day
