Nail Technician Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and leave feeling pampered. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for providing a variety of nail services while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and creativity.
Apply nail art, gel polish, hard gel, gel x and acrylics according to client preferences.
Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and recommend products for at-home maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring all tools are sanitized.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques.
Assist with additional services such as body waxing, hair threading, or eyelash extensions as needed.
Utilize knowledge of color theory to create appealing nail designs that complement clients' styles.
Additional services our salon offers are permanent jewellery, teeth whitening, tooth gem, hair tinsels, facials and head spa.
Requirements
Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations.
Proficiency in various nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, and acrylic applications.
Knowledge of hair styling is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with body waxing and hair threading techniques is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Understanding of retail math to assist in product sales and inventory management.
Experience with dermabrasion or eyelash extensions is desirable but not required.
A passion for beauty and aesthetics with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
