Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and personable licensed Esthetician – NYC to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of professional experience, strong client service skills, and a passion for luxury skin care. Knowledge of luxury skincare brands such as Sisley Paris, Biologique Recherche, Environ, and MBR is ideal but not required.

In this role, you will consult with clients to assess their needs, recommend appropriate services, and perform high-quality treatments. You will also maintain knowledge of our services and retail offerings in order to promote and sell them. Success in this role will be demonstrated through client retention, quality service, and meeting income goals.

This position also offers the potential for future growth into a management role, providing opportunities to expand responsibilities in leadership, training, and operations as the spa continues to grow.

Responsibilities
• Consult with clients and provide professional skin care recommendations
• Perform facial treatments in accordance with protocols and luxury standards
• Sanitize and maintain equipment and treatment areas to the highest standards
• Greet clients in a warm, professional manner and ensure a welcoming experience
• Replace linens and maintain cleanliness between sessions
• Educate clients on skin care routines and available treatments
• Promote and sell high-end skin care products
• Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times

Requirements
• Active Esthetician license New York
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
• Strong knowledge of esthetic services and products
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
• Enjoys performing massage (face, chest, shoulders) as part of treatments
• Clean, well-maintained skin and short, professional nails
• Open to learning new techniques from luxury brands and spa leadership
