Salon Coordinator and Content Creator

Overview
Golden Ember Salon is an upscale, gratuity-free salon home to several talented and high-volume stylists. We are seeking a full-time Salon Coordinator & Content Creator to support daily operations and grow with our brand.

This is an entry-level position with strong growth potential for someone proactive, fashion-forward, creative, and highly reliable. If you are organized, love people, and enjoy social media and content creation, this role offers hands-on experience in both salon operations and brand marketing.

You are not just answering messages, you are the heartbeat of the client experience and the online presence of Golden Ember.

Responsibilities

Client Experience & Front Desk Support

Welcome and check out guests with professionalism and warmth

Manage scheduling, confirmations, rescheduling, and client communication (in-person, phone, text, email)

Support stylists with booking needs and minor scheduling adjustments

Serve as the first point of contact for client concerns and conflict resolution, addressing issues calmly and escalating when necessary

Process payments accurately

Help maintain a polished, elevated salon environment

Assist with light cleaning and daily upkeep

Support inventory organization, restocking, and reordering

Social Media and Content CreationSocial Media & Content Creation

Capture in-salon content (before/after photos, stylist highlights, product features, salon culture moments)

Record short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok

Proactively generate creative content ideas

Assist with posting stories, reels, and engaging with followers

Stay current on trends and help adapt them to fit Golden Ember’s brand

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills

Able to remain calm and professional under pressure

Strong written communication with correct grammar and professionalism

Creative and comfortable recording and editing short-form content

Proactive and self-motivated

Highly reliable and punctual

Fashion-forward appearance aligned with an upscale salon environment

Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting

Prior experience in salon, spa, retail, hospitality, or fine dining is a plus

Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, CapCut, or similar tools preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
