Shampoo/Salon Assistant

Fast paced, up beat salon in the Galleria/Tanglewood area is looking for salon/shampoo assistant who has either just finished or is enrolled in beauty school. Our positive working environment requires the following qualifications:

-IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON RECEIVING OR HAS A COSMETOLOGY LICENSE
-Must be able to work a variety of hours (Saturdays included) in a fast paced environment and be punctual
-Must have good communication skills
-Must have good organizational skills
-Must like working with people and in a team atmosphere
-Must be able to maintain a clean and neat appearance
-Must maintain a positive attitude
-Must help out with basic cleanliness of the salon
-Must be able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods of time

Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental Pay:
• Tips

Experience:
• Salon Assistant: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
• Cosmetology License (Required)
